We recognize that each service provider has a unique approach to their business, and we have structured our Partner Program accordingly. There are two different ways to use our services:

  1. You can work directly with Data Savers, LLC and receive a discount on our rates. You set your own profit margin or mark-up.\
  2. You can refer a client to us and receive a commission for all successful recoveries. The client pays our published rate and you get a referral fee check. Here are the details:

1) We work directly with you (Your Partner Price includes a discount)

You or your techs work directly with our techs. Our goal is to make the process easy, helpful, and transparent. Our online CustomTrak™ service portal updates you on the status of the recovery. Once you are set up in the system you will have 24/7 access to all current and previous job tickets. To sign up simply visit our website and click on “Start a Recovery.”

You may either provide a target drive for the return of data or buy a new one from us. If you supply the drive, we require that the drive be empty, have a higher capacity than the original, and be less than 2 years old. Some partners use a raw drive as a shuttle for their clients’ recovered data sets. Others use the opportunity to sell their client an external drive. We offer external drives starting at $99 (prices are subject to change with the market).

2) We work directly with your client (The client pays our retail (published) prices and you get a Referral Fee check)

For service providers who prefer to refer clients, you can opt to be copied on all e-mails sent to your client through our CustomTrak™ service portal, or you can elect to reduce mailbox clutter and just receive referral payment following successful completion of the project. Examples:

“I’d like to be kept posted throughout the process, but you will bill my client.”
Just let us know on the ticket (the comments section is great for this!). We have the ability to email as many people as needed with updates.

“I’m sending the drive for my client, but after that I want you to deal with the client directly.”
Visit and click on “Submit a Drive.” Use the client’s information on the ticket, and put your company name on the “How did you find us” field. If you haven’t worked with us before, you can send your mailing address to to make sure we know where to send the commission if the recovery is successful.

“I want my client to deal directly with you.”
To do this direct your client to our website for information, an online quote and instructions on how to “Submit a Drive.” For folks who would rather talk to a human, our friendly office staff is happy to provide the same information by phone.

Some suggestions for Partners who also do data recovery

Data Savers, LLC has a clean room facility and special, dedicated imagers for copying data quickly and with minimal risk to the drive and it’s data. No software programs are capable of doing the same thing.

If your client’s drive clicks, has a lot of bad sectors, or is taking a very long time to image, chances are that continuing to operate the drive may, in fact, reduce or eliminate the chances of a successful recovery. If you encounter these difficulties, it may be in your client’s best interests to sub out the recovery to us. Remember, we offer free estimates, and a “no charge” policy for unrecoverable cases.

Data Savers, LLC is a recovery and warranty partner for Western Digital Corp. If your client has a bad drive that is covered under warranty, we will procure a warranty replacement and handle the exchange at no additional charge to you or the client.

We will transfer your recovered data to a new external drive, ship* it back to you and let you get back in business! (*Free UPS Ground return in continental U.S.)

We do keep a copy or image of your data for ten days to ensure that you receive it successfully. After that your data is securely erased.
